Tomorrow is the last day my child will live with me for awhile. We depart the day after tomorrow for the 599 mile drive to Eugene! It's gorgeous there. He'll be in an excellent program, will study, learn new skills, gain more independence, find his people.
I've intensively parented for just shy of 19 years. The daily busy-ness of life keeps me in the moment and out of feelings, but I bet I'm going to have a few on move-in day!
