Of Days Gone By - Bruce Maginnis, Kate Henshaw

The leaves are falling and summer's gone
She's walking slowly, it won't be long
The Greyhound bus pulls out, turns down a street
There's no one coming out to see her leave
She won't need those pretty clothes, gonna be a factory girl
Just like her mama said, there'll be no fairy tales
City lights and lonely nights
And no one around to lend a hand
She kept one picture and some old letters
A faded ribbon of days gone by
She tied her long hair...
Folds up her pretty clothes with tears on her face
She knows she's dreaming, she'll never...
